A virus or fraud? Help please.

I was scrolling through Pinterest and was prompted to call apple at 1-844-200-3**3 due to my phone having a virus. I tried to go back and it wouldn’t allow. That message kept popping up. So I called. The person who answered told me to go to settings, general and give him my INEI#. I hang up and came here. Is this a legitimate # for apple? And does my phone have a virus. After I hang up, I closed out of the site completely & no longer am I receiving this message.

Who should an attempted Phishing text message be sent to? Both my husband and myself have been receiving suspicious text messages that we have not been responding to but wish to know to whom should these attempts be reported to. Should I try to contact Apple Support via any way? The messages are always worded the same but from different phone numbers and different link numbers in order to "Clean your phone" ASAP. The message states "Your browsing history showed visits to unsecured websites. You now have (3) virus on your device. We do not click onto the link. We do plan to report these attempts also to our cell phone service support. We have not reported this issue to the FTC as of today. Thank you for any and all assistance in this matter

Iphone Virus Text Message Hello, I have just received a text message from a 909 area code number to my new iPhone that says, "Your browsing history showed visits to unsecured websites. You now have (3) virus on your device. Clean your phone ASAP." And it provides a link. I haven't touched anything on the message because I think it is false. I haven't been to any website that would warrant this response. It has been maybe 2 weeks since I've gotten my phone, and I'm just a bit concerned by this message, even though I don't think it's true. Has anyone else gotten this message?
