Can't sync iPhone 6 iTunes library with PC iTunes library

I have an iPhone 6 running iOS 11.2.6 and iTunes v12.7.3.46 installed on my PC. I have all my music saved on my PC, which I transferred from an old PC. I also updated my iTunes ID when I changed my name. Now, I can only see my music saved on my new PC on my iPhone 6 if I enable Home Sharing, despite syncing my device while plugged in. I want to have my music on my iPhone without using Home Sharing - how do I do this? (I didn't have any issues syncing the library with my older iPod nano).

iPhone 6, iOS 11.2.6, iTunes v12.7.3.46 on PC

Do you have your computer authorized and iTunes in the Cloud on with devices showing? - both will show under the Account section after you log in with your Apple ID and password? Also, under the Downloads and Store sections, make sure those are checked accordingly

Hi - I don't have any of those options on my phone or iTunes (to switch on iCloud music library), because I'm not subscribed to Apple Music. Are there any other ways to achieve this?

Definitely.

I initiated mine from a PC originally in iTunes. My music plays with ease across all devices & platforms. I just log in with my Apple ID & Pw, and I'm good to go (:
