I have to update a spreadsheet sent from a non-Apple computer. It doesn't have letters above the columns or numbers alongside the rows. This means I can't insert or delete rows. Can anyone help, please?

Hello Eric, thank you for your reply. The problem is that the file won't allow me to select a row or column. However, I think I've solved the problem. I exported the file as an excel document, and that enables me to add and delete rows as necessary.

What happens if you select a row or a column and then use the insert command? What application are you using to update the spreadsheet?
