MacBook Air slow after High Sierra upgrade

Hi,

I have a mid-2013 MacBook Air, 1.7GHz Intel i7, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD.

I upgraded to High Sierra and I started experiencing:

- slower boot

- 10/15 seconds to open apps (e.g. Office Word, etc)

- 5 seconds to get the capture cursor (shift-cmd-4), was immediate before, is immediate if I boot in safe mode

- 12 to 20+ mdworker processes. 0% CPU, but why are they alive?

Here is EtreCheck report, any help is appreciated

thanks

Stefano

Soo many mdworker processes are not uncommon on a new install but they should quit after the spotlight rebuild process has finished (shouldn't take a lot for the internal disk but are you connected to external disks? If yes, drag them into the "privacy" tab of Spotligh in System Preferences).

Also, I'm not asaying this is the solution but: I've noted that your problem is common on systems with Adobe's software. Have checked compatibility with High Sierra before upgrading? Upgrade them if necessary.
