Cannot send large files via Mail Drop on Mail OS X High Sierra
When I try to send a large file using the Mail Drop feature of Mail OS X High Sierra, the Mail program gives me an error message. At first, it says at the bottom left of the side panel that it is sending the message. Then a dialog box comes up that says "Cannot send message using the server iCloud. Your message has size 221.2 MB which exceeds 28.3 MB the maximum allowed by the server." Then it offers to send it again if I select a different outgoing mail server. It does not give me any mail drop message.
My set up:
1. iMac 27 inch Retina 5K, late 2015
2. Processor 4 GHz Intel Core I7
3. Memory 8 GB 1867 MHz DDR3
4. Graphics AMD Radeon R9 M395X 4 GB
5. macOS High Sierra 10.13.3
In Mail preferences, I have checked the box that says "Send large attachments with Mail Drop" under the iCloud IMAP account setting.
Note: I can send large files using Mail Drop when I use Mail on iCloud.com.
I have had this problem with previous versions of OS X in the past.
Any ideas? Thanks.
