You don't. That's probably the number used to activate iMessage and FaceTime. If you're using an unsupported carrier or your account is not properly provisioned for an iPhone, your carrier may charge for those messages. Turn off FaceTime and iMessage and don't turn them back on or switch to a supported carrier.
Hi I live in UAE, currently using an iphone 7 red edition. I use a postpaid connection here. Ive been charged for sending SMS’s to a particular no , a UK number, which I dont even know and never send any sms to that no. When I contacted my carrier, they advised me to block the outgoing SMS to this particular number. I dont know how did it happen. Kindly check and let me know how to resolve this issue.

Hi Tim, Thanks much. I turned off now the iMessage by going into the settings. However unable to find the facetime option to turn it off. Could you please assist to show me the option?
If the phone originated in the Middle East, you won't find FaceTime on it.
