How do I control the file size of output for DVD

I have a Project that is 1:50 long yet the output file is over 6 GB. How do I control the size of the output file from compressor or the Share to DVD process?

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12.6), 16GB RAM

Share > DVD will do it automatically.

To do it manually in Compressor, you're going to adjust the Average and Maximum bit rates.
