How do I control the file size of output for DVD

I have a Project that is 1:50 long yet the output file is over 6 GB. How do I control the size of the output file from compressor or the Share to DVD process?

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12.6), 16GB RAM

Exporting to USB drive I have a 4K file thats about 45 minutes and now a ProRes 422 @ 145GB. I was told not to export to a USB drive bigger then 4GB. I believe they were talking file size not USB size. whats the proper way to compress it. If I go to Share/setting/Format”Computer”/H264/1920x780 I get a Quicktime at 3.75GB. Is that the correct way? If I use Format”Computer” will they still be able to plug and play the USB into a TV?

Compressing large files I have. FCPX project that’s about 90 minutes long. It’s 1920/1080. If I share as master file / computer setting the files about 9GB. Two guestions. 1 if I share via Google Drive are there any issue with a client downloading and playing on a laptop or TV? 2. Any recommended settings or techniques to compress to below 4GB to fit on a USB drive. Someone told me to take master file into Hand Brake and adjust bit rate to achieve the smaller size. Thanks in advance for any help

export file size is bigger than the source file iMovie export file size is larger than the source file. Source File - 570MB what I did was trim the last 30 minutes off of 4 hour lecture Export File (est) High - 35.93GB Medium - 24.11GB Small - 12.28GB Best(ProRes) - 266.34GB The source file itself was converted to MP4 from AVI (1.5GB) using handbrake

Share > DVD will do it automatically.

To do it manually in Compressor, you're going to adjust the Average and Maximum bit rates.
