iPad icon grid adjustable (column, row)

I have iPad Air 2, no point upgrading to iPad Pro to this is fixed.Or may go android because Apple is being so slow

There are no options to change the grid layout on the iPad, and each home screen has a few icons and lots of wasted space, with only 20 icons For each page, I must scroll though dozens of pages if I had 100 apps. Folders could do the job, but this is an iPad it’s much bigger screen than a phone, which this operating system was designed initially for.

I’m pushing for a 8x6 or 6x5 as apposed to 5x4.

Icons could be 5-15% smaller or moved To the edges more (less white space)

For such a big screen you could easily fit double

it would be comparable to the iPhone 6 white space.

iphone 6 has more icons than iPad, iPad gets the dock however and a much better task switcher
