mail search does not work

Mail search within the MacOS Mail app does not work. Any one has an idea how to fix that? the mails will be found in spotlight though. Rebuild index wont fix the issue.

the search feature in Mail does not work I upgraded to MACOs 11.0.1 and the Mail utility is close to worthless. The search feature returns nothing, i have duplicate mail boxes, i.e. two drafts, two sets, three trash. The app does not delete the original e-mails from the server as I have requested. Is Mail ever going to operate properly? Also support for Mac devices is following the trend of Microsoft, it is becoming extinct!

Open terminal from the utilities folder and execute:

sudo defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.security.appsandbox \ UnrestrictSpotlightContainerScope -bool true

it allows unrestricted spotlight search.
