Photos on old iPod
I have an iPod 4 which has photos I would like to get on my iMac. When I plug in iTunes shows the iPod but not the photos on the iPod. How can I get these photos from my old iPod to my computer?

If you mean a 4th gen. iPod touch then see Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. If you mean a 4th gen. iPod classic then typically the device only has low resolution images unless you specifically chose to include the originals. The originals, if present, can be found by browsing the contents of the device in disk mode. See How to use disk mode on your iPod - Apple Support. If you don't have originals see the table of recovery tools at the bottom of Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. Some of them are able to extract the photos.
