High Sierra download

Help! download this macOS High Sierra and now it's doing these crazy things😩how do I remove it when I can't open anything? I've turned it off and on several times.

running Catalina, app store wants me to get high sierra whenever I reboot my iMac running Catalina 10.15.5, App store opens and want me to down load Sierra. Is this just an annoyance or do have a problem?

Yes, you have the option to erase and restore the OS through the recovery
