How does one export original photos out of Photos? None of the export or share options seem to offer this standard and much-needed feature. I can only see various jpeg/tiff/png options in Export/Custom. Not sure why Photos is designed to be so impossibly hard to use!
I suggest that you give Apple feedback. I agree they need to add an "export original" shortcut.
(Though I always just use the menus)

I'll do that. I just can't fathom why it was taken out of the normal export method in the first place, or what the logic might have been for this. It is more coding, and more menu clutter.

That was going to be the next thing for me to try. It might be possible with Automator… However, I'm glad that we agree that the current app set up is a bit bizarre!
There must be a secret sauce necessary to bind shortcuts to menu items ending in "..."
Someone in the MacOS X forums may know how to.
That's a screenshot for iWeb??? I didn't even know that application was still usable. I lost a lot of blog posts with that app and it's poor upgrades. Not nice memories.
