orange light on my airport express then flashes green then back too orange

Hi,

I have the older version of the Airport Express, it has a solid amber light, and it flashes green for a second then back too amber. I have reset it a few times by pressing the reset button and turning on the power. But no luck!

Any Ideas? Can you get them serviced in a Apple shop?

Is it the Gen1 N wireless.. A1264 (you can read it in tiny print on the side).

Then it is probably capacitor failure in power supply ..

And no servicing.. Apple does not service any of their routers.. they are throw away items.

Plus it is sealed shut.

Plenty of sites on how to repair or replace the power supply.. even I managed to fix one..

I consider this repair.. a great exercise in DIY.. and totally not worth it.. buy a new one now.. before they are all gone.
