Skype is not an Apple product so, a suggestion that you consult the developer for assistance is not a bad one. General troubleshooting would be to delete the app and re-download it.

Did you delete the app and re-install?

The next standard troubleshooting steps would be to restore you phone from a back up. If that doesn't work restore from new. You should also consider consulting Skype customer support.
