Why Apple doesn't have real live support, as long as it develops very fast!

Yes, sure. You were right, dear, in some points. But, while discussing with the support, one of the nice people there, and I think his name is Samuel has told me that in my case and as long as I am working with Arabic I should use the ePUB and not the iba.

However, my daughter used both of them to publish. Nevertheless, the main problem is still converting PDF in Arabic to other formats that could be compatible with the Pages, or the iBooks Author and still retain the format of the PDF and the characters.

The screen shots do this, but it is a hard job, as I said, if you have more than 100 pages.

Hahahaha, please see how the first Arabic word in the url has been divided by dashes between the Arabic characters of the word.

I have been wandering here for long enough to see this is not enough, as not every question has an answer here, thanks to the efforts of the community, indeed.

It is still lacking many urgent information on the usage and the practices of some products that progress with the fast tempo of Apple.

Apple should consider the live support according to the high level of income the company makes from the products it sells worldwide. Companies there although they aren't in the level of Apple offer live support and they get morally values of such efforts, forget about solving problems immediately.

Here on Apple you just go around maybe for a century to find the right answer to your question. Believe me when I say I had been here for long, just to read and know.

One of the matters is like this:

My daughter has published three books on iBooks and two of them were in PDF. While working with this the Pages get the PDF for each easily.

However, there are some bad samples and signs she has managed and continued with the submission.

Now, we found that we have a problem since the work environment is in Arabic.

I purchased many apps just from two days and until yesterday and paid for them to try converting PDF files.

Pages could have solved the headaches of such work and saved me the times for trials and errors.

All of the apps have failed dramatically to convert properly into Microsoft Word, or whatever textual format. So, I deleted the apps and requested refunds.

Adobe is also a misery in such matter, as it doesn't work properly with Arabic and can't convert properly into any suggested formats.

iBook Author comes with the primary features of any book included, like chapters, sections etc...

But, what, if I had the book already in a PDF?

And here is another problem, what if the PDF is in Arabic?

The ePUB is supposed to solve this matter, but with the features already added there, it would be difficult to get the flow of Arabic content from a PDF there too.

Thank you very much. To your records, it does distribute books in Arabic. I am 100% sure of this, as we have published two iBooks already. Besides, I think that is what the ePUB for... I mean to work with many languages. If not, though and which I doubt, Apple could take this as a new huge market.

While I watched videos in this language to solve this problem, I found many apps to convert PDF in Arabic into Microsoft Word, I tested them one by one and found that they are not good at all at performing this job. But, I discovered a work around method, I can use to convert PDF in Arabic into Word. That would absolutely be much of work, if you have more than 100 pages. So, until I find other better ways that save time and efforts, I'll keep doing it the tortoise way.
