Files App does not show content

When trying to copy and paste archives into my dropbox folder in files, a message pops up and all the content disappears. When this happens, I cannot upload files to a webbroweser.

dowloaded files or files from my dropbox- it keeps trying to open them with skype! When i try to open dowloaded files or files from my dropbox- it keeps trying to open them with skype. Even if i go to applications and select all applications and select preview to open it, it still goes back to trying to open in skype. I can see that someone else was having this problem and has been told that is not possible but I am also experiencing the same problem. Does anyone know why this is and how to fix it?

DropBox access Since updating the iPad Pro and iPhone X to the latest version 14.4, I am no longer able to view the DropBox folders from the Files app; I get the message 'Content not available. The contents of the folder could not be shown due to an unknown error '. It works fine on the MAC with Big Sur 11.2.1 and the DropBox app works regularly as well.
