Filevault paused

Sierra OSX 10.12.6 on iMac (late 2015)

HD capacity 3.1 TB, available 2.48 TB

Started Filevault 6 days ago. Progress was ongoing for 3 days, then appeared to be stuck at 63%. Yesterday I didn't look at it, but today it shows 'Encryption paused'. How can I get Filevault to continue? Or what should I do now?

iMac with Retina 5K display, macOS Sierra (10.12.5)

FileVault Encryption Taking Forever So I got my MacBook Pro (2017) a few days ago, and since I finished starting it up, it’s been encrypting data and barely seems to make any process through the days. It always has the same amount of time remaining and the blue progress bar has been pretty much the same for the last few days. This is getting extremely annoying because I need to update it to the newest software so I can download software for school and can’t while it’s encrypting. It’s also not an option to cancel the encryption. If anyone has any advice, please let me know.

FileVault stuck decrypting at 98% I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro that I’ve been trying to update. I just upgraded the OS From lion to El Capitan and accidentally turned on FileVault. I had canceled the progress early using terminal commands and it began decrypting. However, it has now been stuck on 98.84% progress for the last 2 days. Is there anyway to check if it is stuck or get it to finish decrypting? Any help would be appreciated.

Filevault stuck at "1 minute remaining" I started a 256GB drive encrypting approximately eight hours ago - for the last three hours it has been stuck at "1 minute remaining". Rebooting achieves nothing, and a "first aid" in Disk Utility returns no issues. However the SMART status of the drive is "not supported". Is there anyway I can abort this encryption, or somehow kick start it?! Or do I just need to be more patient and let it run overnight? The recovery key is cloud stored. Thanks.
