Question: Outlook Setup for iCloud Stuck!

I am setting up a new Lenovo Legion Y520. I have tried to trouble shoot this every way support suggests and from previous forum suggestions. I cannot get them to work. No matter what I install and uninstall, check or uncheck the download process always gets stuck downloading the last item. I'm assuming the item is corrupt but I have no way of knowing what it is. Please help.

Hello MrsHeatMaker,

Just wanted to tell you that I had this issue as well, and so it happens that after hanging there for about 10 minutes, it eventually showed a different window saying the process was finished. Now, this being said, after 10 minutes I started closing all iCloud related processes from Task Manager, except for iCloud Service, which I closed at last. A couple of minutes I closed this last service, it showed the Finished message.

This unfortunately happened while I was searching for answers, so I didn't get a screenshot of that specific message, but it showed it nonetheless.

Not sure whether this helps, but just wanted to let you know what happened in my case.

In my case, yes it was. After the 10-minute waiting and finally showing up the 'Finished' message like I mentioned before, Outlook now shows everything correctly.
