I am trying to update a 3rd gen iPad running ios 5.1.1 to a higher version. I get error message: an error occurred while checking for a software update...Try Again or Cancel. I opened iTunes and it recognized the iPad. Try to update ver. 9, but received error message 9006. How can I update to a later version?
