How to change photo metadata so it doesn’t show up in selfie/screenshot folder

the photos app on iOS and macOS automatically creates a folder called "Selfies" and "Screenshots".

Does anybody know how the system detects if something is a selfie/screenshot? I thought this information is stored in the metadata of a specific photo (would make sense, right?) but deleting all the metadata of a specific photo didnt seem to help.

Any help is very welcome!

Edit: I tried changing the size of the photo (so its not a typical iPhone screenshot size) but it didnt help. Also the raw metadata didn't reveal anything "suspicious".
