How can I disable auto-correct in Safari ONLY?

Safari keeps auto-correcting my abbreviations and it's hampering my productivity. I know how to disable auto-correct globally in MacOS but I don't want to do that. I only want to disable it in Safari. Is this possible?

How to stop autocorrect from autofilling in Safari When I'm in Safari and I type a word wrong, the little autocorrect text box pops up. I'd like to keep that text box, but the problem is the text autofills even when I don't click on it. The moment I hit space bar, the word is changed. And it does this multiple times, so it doesn't even seem to be disabled by deleting the word. I want autocorrect in case I misspell a word, I just don't want it autofilling. How to Disable Safari Top Hits in search bar on macOS desktop? I've researched the Internet and have been unable to find a solution to disabling the Top Hits suggestion in Safari on MacOS desktop computers when entering in text in the search bar at the very top of Safari. I've already cleared my History and disabled all Safari - Preferences - Search check boxes. Any guidance would be appreciated.

Safari > Edit > Spelling and Grammer > Correct Spelling Automatically.

Click "Correct Spelling Automatically" to remove the checkmark beside it.

Note: The option is grayed out normally. This will become active only if there is an active Safari text entry field.
