Top 25 Most Played doesn't have play count!

Either I'm stupid, or this is by far the most idiotic change iTunes has made in a long, long list of them.

The "Top 25 Most Played" list........doesn't actually include the play count any more. It is apparently the one thing iTunes doesn't think you need to know about your most played songs. It's also a "special" automatic playlist so you can't change the columns like you can in a created playlist. Or at least, I can't figure out how to do this. PC version 12.7.2.60.

I'm sorry I ever "updated" iTunes from about version 1

While we're at it, the other really annoying thing is that if you want artwork displayed, it comes baked in with displaying this other column which seems to be track number, although there's also a separate column for that. This column has no heading & there seems to be no way to kill it. Is there any way to remove this?

No. The left-most numeric column is the play order index. I've no idea why it becomes the track number when you have artwork displayed, but it is a long term "feature", for want of a better word. I rarely notice it is there because I always ignore it.

View > View As > Songs. Right-click on the column headings and enable any columns you want to see.

Hmmm ok thanks. For a column nobody seems to want but you can't get rid of, they also seem to have made it unnecessarily large for a field that can only be 3 digits. Sigh
