Hey guys,
Im trying to burn some dvd. Two vids onto one dvd at 720p. (Would like higher qaulity).
I go through the process and my PS4 reads it as a data disc. What am I doing wrong?

Have you by any chance selected to author an HD DVD instead of SD DVD?
I believe that an HD DVD will display as a data disc in a standard DVD player.
HD DVD never really took off and cannot be played on a bog standard DVD player.
It lost out to Blu-Ray some years ago now.
Although your PS4 is not just a standard DVD player i.e. it does also play Blu-Ray discs , an HD DVD disc will still not play on a PS4.
(Would like higher quality).
If your DVD Studio Pro was part of Final Cut Studio 3 ( not 2 ) then you will also have Compressor 3.5 which can produce Blu-Ray which you can play on your PS4.
Be aware that DVD Studio Pro 4 came with both Final Cut Studio 2 AND 3.
Compressor 3.0 ( and FC Pro 6 and Motion etc) came with FCS 2
Compressor 3.5 ( and FC Pro 7 and Motion etc ) came with FCS3
Hopefully you have Compressor 3.5 to be able to burn to Blu-Ray.
Also look at burning AVCHD disc to DVD which you can play on your PS4.
AVCHD disc on DVD will not play on a standard DVD player.
Wow.... that’s interesting. I have the pro 4, part of the collection that includes final cut, motion etc.
I should have added that for Blu-Ray burning you need a Blu-Ray burner.
For AVCHD on DVD you can use your internal Mac or an external DVD burner to burn.
AVCHD on DVD will only play on a Blu-Ray player e.g. PS4.
