iCloud Drive to Mac OS High Sierra not working

iCloud on my Mac High Sierra is not syncing. I logged out and re-logged in did not work. I also reinstalled High Sierra also no effect. Drive is working perfectly on my iPhone and iPad. Not sure why it suddenly stopped working on my Mac. Any help would be appreciated.

Following up: After looking at the logs, Apple decided that they needed to reset my iCloud account on their end. It doesn't appear that I lost any data. After they did this, I signed out of iCloud completely on my MacBook (not just iCloud Drive) and logged back in. Once I poked it by uploading a file, everything seemed to work properly again.

Also, spent almost an hour with Apple support. We tried pretty much every possible idea - inc setting up new user account - but nothing worked. I also reinstalled High Sierra but no change. iCloud drive still not syncing - all else, photos, calendar etc fine. It is possible that a 3rd party app is causing the issue, but what one, no idea. The only possible solution is to do a factory reset (seeing as iCloud Drive works for everything else and on my iPhone / iPad). Don't really want to do that as it will take ages to get my software sorted out on it. Might be the only option unless someone else works it out 🙂

Same thing happening to me, however mine seems to be a Keychain issue. Have been having problems ever since I changed the login password for my MacBook pro and worse now I upgraded to the latest version of High Sierra. Notes won't sync with my iPhone and iPad, however calendars, photos and contacts do. iCloud drive simply not syncing. I use Ulysses and Ninox that sync through iCloud, so they are no longer working. Nightmare!!

Hi, I have the same issue (or appears to be)

I have even tried to turn off the icloud drive (which saved everything on the MacBook to an icloud archive folder - which was nice). Set icloud up again n the MacBook but it won't download anything from icloud online (all files and folders are there and accessible on iPad and iPhone) and if I create a new file on the MacBook icloud folder it sits there with an arrow and the file size next to it. So it is all set up correctly but just won't sync. Photos seems fine it is just icloud drive.

I am experiencing this issue as well and have a case open with Apple Support. The Senior Advisor had me reinstall the latest version of macOS. No change.

The engineers then requested some specific log files, and are currently reviewing them. It's interesting to see Apple's diagnostic tools in action. (I've had them screen share on my iPhone a while back.)
