Why is my iMessage time not synced with my phone time?

User uploaded fileThe picture above shows that my iMessage time is slightly ahead of my phone time (at 10:47pm I should not be able to take a screenshot of a message I sent at 10:48pm).

It is sort of like when your microwave clock is slightly slower than your stove clock. They both start at 1:00 but a few months later your stove says 2:46 and your microwave says 2:44 even though you haven’t adjusted either.

This causes my text messages to be out of order in most conversations.

- I have a 128g iPhone 7

-This is only a problem with iPhone users. It doesn’t happen when I text someone on an android phone.

-This has been happening since I bought this phone on December 23, 2017

- I have the current IOS update (11.2.6) and this has been a problem on all IOS versions I’ve had on this phone

I have tried the following:

- manually adjusting the time

- setting the time to automatic

- restarting my phone

- resetting my phone

- wiping my phone completely back to the “Hola!” screen

- contacting Apple support by phone

- turning off iMessage and turning it back on

I will go to an Apple store but we don’t have one nearby. The closest store is a 4.5 hour drive away. It seems like it must be a software issue so I can’t imagine the people at the store will be able to fix it anyway.

Any suggestions?
