Unable to update iOS 11.3 with iTunes 12.6.3. iTunes is prompting needed to update to iTunes 12.7.3 which is without app store. Guys, we need a new updated version to iTunes 12.6.4

I always update via MacBook Pro iTunes, except this time.
I don't want to use OTA unless it's absolutely necessary... 😢

Yes but I want to make sure iTunes 12.6.3 still can sync with iOS 11.3. iTunes 12.6.2 was unable to sync with iOS 11 before.

No way I'm going with Samsung. I'll get Pixel 2 XL. It's cheaper and get updates from Google all the time like iOS. Pure Android is the way to go.
I'm ready to move away from iPhone. I might stay with iPad and Mac.
BTW, I successfully tried an OTA update on a retired 6S (success rate now 50%),
and it does sync apps from iTunes 12.6.3.6.
Still somewhat hesitant to try it on my iPhone 8 as that is my "lifeline".
A question to anyone, has anyone tried to "manually" install/update apps in iTunes 12.7.4
by dragging and dropping the .ipa files to a connected iDevice with iOS 11.3? Does
it still work as in previous versions of 12.7? Or, is that gone as well?
I try to update the iPhone X via OTA, and it works fine with iTunes 12.6.3.6.
You can still sync with iPhone X 11.3 and iTunes 12.6.3.6. (include APPs)
