my iCloud music libary doesn't update from MacBook to iPhone

This is fixed.

The fix didn't show up on its own though, I had to sign out of iCloud on all my devices and restart them before logging back in.

I did this today and iCloud Music library syncs again. The same process didn't work a week ago

I've had the issue again on Saturday and Sunday, but currently it's back to being functional. I didn't bother logging out this time, seems the make no difference in the long run. They can't seem to get this working consistently, it's pretty crazy.

I'm hoping iOS 12 will improve everything, iOS 11.3 overall has been one of the worst updates ever.

Thanks for your suggestion! Adding a song is so much easier than turning iCloud Music Library on and off. Ugh, I hope they fix this soon.

I just got an email from the senior specialist handling my case:

This issue is currently being investigated, but we do not have a possible fix as of yet.

Totally agree with you. The more we do to let them know this is an issue on their end, the better it is as they'll deal with it and get it rectified. My case number, by the way, is 100498894563

Yup! I sent that to them yesterday. Glad they're covering it.

Definitely been heard. Search “iCloud music library” on Twitter and filter on recent! This should get somewhere now and hopefully help those who experienced it intermittently prior to 11.3.
