Light Spots on 2016 MacBook Pro Screen (Touch Bar)

I bought a 2016 13" MacBook Pro with TouchBar a little over a year ago, and recently, I have been noticing some light spots forming on the retina display. They are especially noticeable against a white background on the screen. Against the white, they seem almost a little off white and yellow. The light is not being distributed evenly on the screen. Has anyone experienced this at all? I've taken great care of this computer and I'm surprised that the screen is already giving me trouble! My last MBP lasted 8 years! It had a great screen too!

I had a 2012 MacBook Air that had 2 or 3 irregularly shaped white spots that were only noticeable against a white background. I first noticed them when the Air was about 6 months old but there is a small chance that they were there from day 1. I went back to the Authorized Service Provider where I purchased it and the screen was replaced under warranty.
