What does repair account mean

I bought a brand new iPhone and while my back up was restorin go notice at the bottom of my messages it says messages in iCloud are currently disabled

repair account min blue

but I can’t click on it and I even tried turning it on and off

will not work

iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 11.3, null

I did as rockmyplimsoul suggested: Signing out of iCloud, resetting the iPhone, and signing back in.


So far so good...No more message. 🙂

I will try the same with my iPad Pro.

Messages in iCloud have always been disabled.


They may have existed in beta (unreleased) versions of iOS.


It sounds like perhaps you purchased your iPhone from some unauthorized source, or attempted to restore a backup from a beta software backup.
