Alternatively try booting into Safe Mode, it does some cache clearing on startup and that may be one of the cache files it clears.

So, I solved it. Just restarted in safe mode! haha so that's that.
From your Finder Go menu > Go to Folder then copy paste:
~/Library/Caches/com.apple.finder/Cache.db
Click Go and delete that cache file.
Restart your Mac.
My computer can't find that? When I type it in it just makes a sound and takes me to the general Caches folder.
Did you copy and paste the entire path including the tilde (~) at the beginning?
yes I did
That's odd it works as expected here. I asked because if I leave off the tilde I can reproduce what you are seeing. But when I enter the path to the ~/ (Home) Library it works as expected.
