"Turn off Genius" not in menu

In iTunes 12.7.4.76 on Windows 10 Pro build 17133.1 with Apple Music enabled and logged in to my iTunes Store account, when I choose File > Library > Update Genius, iTunes displays a dialog box saying "Genius results can't be updated because the iTunes Store doesn't recognize your iTunes Library. Please choose File > Library > Turn Off Genius to turn off Genius then turn it back on." But there is no "Turn Off Genius" option in the File > Library menu. ?

iPad Air Wi-Fi, iOS 11.2.5

That's because you're not allowed to turn off genius when you have an Apple Music subscription. You'll need to turn off Apple Music and iCloud Music Library (I think) before the option to turn off genius shows up.

Or to fix the “problem” automatically, since there’s no need for user involvement.

Thanks for the solution. I turned off Apple Music in Edit > Preferences, then "Turn On Genius" appeared in the File > Library menu. Perhaps the error message displayed could have provided such information...
