MS Office not Working after 10.13.4 update

Running MS Office 2016 on High Sierra 10.13.4 with a brand new MacBook Pro, and am unable to save any Word, Excel, Powerpoint, or OneNote documents after the last OS update. Programs all freeze and then crashes when trying to save. Removed and reinstalled Office, the problem remains. Help...kind of important programs to have for work!!

Safe Mode didn't work...went to the Apple Store, and apparently, they have had a lot of folks with this issue this week. While I waited, they gave me instructions on how to reset MS Office from version 16xxx to version 15xxx. This solved the problem. They said there should be a fix coming out soon from both Apple and Microsft, and that the problem is with both updates not talking to each other. Thanks for the help Old Toad.
