Apple Watch Series 3 Music Storage Capacity

I have seen a lot of different information in these forums regarding how much music can be stored on the Apple Watch Series 3. After removing all of the apps that I will not use on the watch, I was able to load 6.0 GB of music (876 songs) on the watch.

One thing that seems like a small bug in the Watch App on the phone is, even though it loaded all of the songs in the Playlist it still shows a red circle with an “!” mark in it next to the Playlist Name and when you open the message it reads “Your Apple Watch is out of space for music. To make room, remove other albums and playlists from your Apple Watch.”, so to see if the message was genuine as far as not being able to load any more music I then tried to load another short playlist and got the same error message, even though the watch shows an additional 5.1 GB of Storage Space available.

So it seems that it will load a single large playlist but then will not allow additional smaller Playlists. Don’t know if this is due to a bug or what. Hope this information helps.
