Hey,

I have exactly the same symptoms, I thought CaptureOne had trouble with the update but it's actually my macbook that became slow beyond reason. 10.13.4 really made a big performance drop, I can't use my computer for my daily workload without frustrating lags on every action.

Please, Apple, fix this.

Running 10.13.6 for a while now. It better than before but can be slow at times.

The solves some of the problems, but not eliminated the slowness issues. Maybe is this just another sales ploy. At least let me downgrade.

Logging in, switching users and startup apps are faster but still relatively show from before.

Sometimes when MacBook Pro starts to slow down I can hear the fan ramp up. I am plugged into the wall, so that is also generating heat. Recharging that battery can cause the bottom of the laptop to heat up considerably.

Oh, by the way, 10.13.6 no longer supports my over version of MS office, forcing me to switch to MS Office 365.
