Randomly shuts down when not connected to an external display.

MacBook Pro Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013.

My Mac is working properly only with the connected external monitor (through hdmi) on battery or on power supply. If the external monitor is not connected, my mac hangs up and shutting down.

PowerBook, macOS High Sierra (10.13.3), (Retina, 15-inch, Late 2013)

MacBook Pro 13 inch 2017 display problems My macbook pro (2017) randomly shut down in the middle of use. When I got it up and running, I can open it and it will wake but as I slowly open the screen farther it starts to dim and then once it is open 90 degrees or more, it goes completely black. I have to close it and wait to open it back up in order to turn the screen on. Is there a software fix for this

MacBook Pro 2019 - Crashing on shutdown when using external display. Hi all, I have a 2019 MacBook Pro (16”) connected to an external 4K monitor (with lid closed). When selecting ‘shutdown’ whilst using the monitor, the MacBook will freeze for a few minutes before firing up its fans and eventually force-powering off. When I log back in, I’m always greeted with the ‘Your computer was restarted because of a problem.’ error. I’ve also noticed that applications are crashing more frequently, but may just be a coincidence. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
