Lately I've noticed App Store (audio) has drained 84% of my battery in the last 24 hours and it has only been open 2 minutes. Is this a bug in the new iOS? I noticed my battery was draining ridiculously fast even after I was asleep at night and there was no use of the cellphone.

iPhone 8, iOS 11.3
I had the exact same problem as everyone is describing. Was told to do a factory reset so I did that then restored an old backup to get all my old data back. The problem persisted so I took it to the Apple store today and they said I should do a factory reset again but instead of restoring it from a previous backup, go to settings, general, reset, 'erase all content and settings' . Then when it starts back up click 'set up as new iPhone'. DO NOT RESTORE AN OLD BACKUP. It is a bit of a pain to have to re-download everything but if you store data in the cloud its not too much hassle. It worked for me, hope this helps!
As for now it works with 11.3.1 so I will wait for 11.4. I think it will come any day now anyway and right now I use my Huawei P20 pro :-)
Also, I wonder why it’s called a “PUBLIC beta release.”
What did you toggle on and off? Bluetooth?
I have done the exact same thing and I think it was those settings that solved my problems to. Haven't had them since I disabled everything like you did
I have the same problem on my iPhone 6S which runs iOS 11.3
I turned it on from my 100% charged iPhone 8 Plus. I’ll Let you know if it’s fixed.
Exact same issue 40% usage by App Store (Audio) 1 minute on screen. Any sign of a fix?

Update: Updating to iOS 11.4 did in fact not work after all as I experienced the problem once again today

Restart your phone:
Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
And then monitor it going forward. If it happens again, you can also use the app-switcher to shut down the App Store.

Hi Lawrence. My phone was fine until I installed ios 11.4. I went to Apple and they wiped my phone and reinstalled and same thing happened. I had a backup saved of 11.3 which I used to restored to and wow the problem dissapeared. So the problem is software related and not the phone as I have had my phone 2 years and this only happens on 11.4.

Yeah sure. I used my work computer to charge my phone and it had saved a backup from 11.3. I factory reset and wiped my phone and then installed 11.3 iOS and then loaded my profile. i use iCloud to backup but on my work computer I save locally. Complete luck that I had a backup saved as I didn’t know
Ah ok. It shows 11.3.1 now but my restore was showing 11.3 So If It restores current version then fair enough. I do use Apple Music a lot but not sure. The only common thing I notice is it’s during the night when my phone isnt Being used. I can’t say when I’m using it that it drains quicker than I expect but I can have 100% at night and 30% when I wake. I’m starting to think I should check which apps I leave open during the night as there could be a stuck update (just a guess)
Hey I had the same problem but I actually think that I have solved the problem. What you need to do is go in to settings> iTunes&app store> auto playback of videos and turn that of. That worked for me, now I don’t have the issue anymore. Hope it works for you to
Your correct 11.4 is A beta release. I just checked and I have installed 11.3.1 which is not the bet release. I assumed it wa 11.4
