Apple Tv and Zwift blue tooth connection problem

I have recently purchased an Apple Tv, 4th gen to use with my Zwift program for indoor bike training. Previously i used my Mac Book Pro, with no problems connecting. I have downloaded the Zwift app, which shows up on the HDTV i am using as a monitor. When I attempt to pair the smart device, a Cyclops Magnus, the screen shows the Magnus, but does not connect using the bluetooth connection. I have no other bluetooth devices running. When I enter the settings on the Apple TV, nothing shows up as well, it just spins. Any ideas?

you will likely have more success trying to contact the Zwift app developers or their forum where more users of this app would be present

but with many bluetooth devices one needs to put the bluetooth device into pairing / discovery mode to pair with a device one has not used on the device before I would look into that
