Extensions in Safari are disabled, and I cannot re-enable them.
I am a LastPass user. I use Safari as my browser. Yesterday, LastPass wasn't working. Over three calls with Apple, and my own investigation, in the end it looks as though my primary account on my MacBook will not allow extensions.
I have done the following:
- deleted the extension folder -- no effect
- logged in to my guest account -- it allows the extensions
- rebooted in safe mode -- no change
- reinstalled the OS (I am on the most recent) -- no change
- tried to install any other Safari extension -- they say I cannot because extensions are not allowed
- turned on the Develop menu, which will not allow me to "unblock" the Disable Extensions option
I have had 3 calls with Apple, but the problem is not yet solved.
Anyone seen this before?
