PDF - GRIDLINES
When I open PDF in preview the grid lines are visible - and they are visible when I print - how can I get rid of them please?

Preview has no means to enable, or disable grid lines.
Do the grid-lines appear when opening the PDF with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, or another PDF viewer?
Ensure that you have the grid lines disabled in the application before exporting it to PDF. If the grid lines still appear in the PDF, there is nothing you can do about it in Preview.

If you were producing this PDF via an Automator solution, there is an action in the Automator PDF library that applies a grid to the PDF.
