Very unstable Wifi connection with my iPhone 8

My iPhone 8 with iOS 11.3 does connect to different Wifis, but in random intervals loses connection or goes to just 1 bar. It will recover though when I turn Wifi off and on again. My iPad Pro 10.5 and my wife‘s iPhone 6s work perfectly on the same networks.

Furthermore it sometimes grays out all Wifi options in Preferences. Only a complete restart of the iPhone will cure this. As I said: iPad and iPhone 6s with same iOS do not show this behaviour! Therefore it cannot be connected with the Wifi itself but is strictly associated with my iPhone 8. Any ideas?

Since it sounds like the issue is isolated to your specific iPhone, it's a good idea to also rule out any potential Wi-Fi interference (including Bluetooth devices and third-party accessories):

If you are still experiencing Wi-Fi issues after trying those steps, consider arranging service by mail, or take your iPhone to an Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Retail Store to determine which service and support options are available. Thanks, I just had a good chat with Apple Support. They suggested to reset my network preferences (as also suggested in one of your articles). Did that, now have to wait and see.
