phone won't charge from iMac

When I plug my iPhone into my iMac it just beeps and the green charge light goes on and off with the beeps. I cleaned the ports and tried multiple apple charger cords. I also used 2 different iPhones. I also tried all the different USB ports in the back and they all do the same thing.

My iMac is a Mac OS high Sierra 10.13.4
