are you using the pitch correction feature on the VOX tracks? this can cause some serious latency issues.

adding other effects/processing can also cause a little latency, it's always best to record dry, with little to no extra processing, and then add any effects/processing afterward

at this point it seems like it may be an issue with that project file.

this is going to sound like a PITA (because it is, you have to jump between projects, opening each one, back and forth), but you might try copying all the regions in each track, one track at a time, and pasting them into a new project. (we had to do this once years ago when a project the band recorded using GB version 1 had some type of issue. it was a pain, but whatever the issue was, we solved it by transferring the regions to a new project)

you could try copying over just 3-4 tracks worth of regions just to see if it helps

you could also wait to see if anyone else has some ideas to try

since you mentioned having this problem before, and then it vanishing, have you tried logging out/in of your account to clear memory (maybe even a full reboot)?

also what equipment are you using?

here's another diagnostic test: try muting all the tracks beside the one on which you are recording (it doesn't matter what you record, just see if the latency persists)
