Logic x missing parts in playback and bouncing

Hi,

Never had this problem before hope someone can help, just upgraded to a macbook pro retina 2016, and during playback of tracks in logic x it is skipping the occasional audio file, for example the 1st hat and then the 5th kick and then the 7th bit of percussion, it is completely random, at first i assumed it was a cpu issue and its always fine when bouncing however even after bouncing the audio is missing elements every few seconds. I updated, logic x to the latest version still no change, i changed the buffer sizes still no change. It feels and sounds like the cpu is struggling but i have 3 times more than i was working with before, and cpu issues never effected the final bounced track before. Im out of ideas....

also its only the audio files thats effected never the middi

Thanks in advance

Even more bizarre, I dragged the project on to my old Mac book pro 2012 and it runs with out any issues no missing audio, slower playback issues because it has lower cpu. I checked the preferences everything is the same as logic on my new MacBook, it also has no issues at 64bit summing. It doesn’t make any sense.....i noticed that random bits of audio fade out after every 10-15 seconds on my new Mac...
