You may not install this volume because the computer is missing a firmware partition

I asked this already. Someone told me to reinstall the OS, I did that, and it worked, but when I go to upgrade to High Sierra it still does not work. Can anyone help?!?!?

This is crazy, I though Apple made things simple?!

MacBook Pro with Retina display, macOS Sierra (10.12.6)
