Bootcamp FaceTime HD Camera not working

I have a new MacBook Pro 13, and the FaceTime HD camera will only work in certain apps. Does anyone know a solution?

Issue with FaceTime camera on MacBook Pro hi, Ive been unable to use certain apps that require me to use video call (eg. Skype/FaceTime). Whenever I launch these apps, my Mac tells me that "There is no connected camera". Ive been trying to fix this problem & I've tried multiple ways such as typing in "sudo killall VDCAssistant" in "Terminal" but to no avail. Does anyone have an answer to the problem?

Generic USB Webcam not recognized by FaceTime. on Mac Mini late 2015. Although it works fine on Skype app. It seems to me, that FaceTime App not working properly.

Which specific set of Applications does the Camera not work with?
