False contact on lightning-jack adaptor

Hi all,

I have an issue which did not happen from the beginning but started a few weeks ago. Whenever i use my headphones or earphones using this ##~~ lightning-jack adaptor, if i stay still it's quite ok, but if the cable of the adaptor moves just a little the sound cuts suddenly for a second or less and then starts again.

I went to the "Genius" bar in the AppleStore at my town, we tried several adaptors with the same issue, except the one owned by the "Genius" bar. The guy changed my adaptor anyway, even after we realised the problem was still present.

And the "clever" answer of the "Genius" was : it looks there is an incompatibility between the connector of your heaphones (Sennheiser Urbanite XL) and the iPhone. Maybe you could put some tape around the adaptor to prevent it from being bent...

WHATTTTT ??? Seriously ??? Are you really telling me what i think i just heard, about a phone i paid 1300€ ???? Is that why they call you "Genius" ??

So you're telling me there is no problem with the adaptor, it's just that Sennheiser doesn't know how to make correct jack connectors, but in no way it's the fault of Apple ?

Are you kidding ???

This issue is driving me crazy ! I would have thought Apple would not put this piece of #~~ instead of an embedded jack connector, above all for a phone you have to sell an organ to be able to buy, but i was clearly wrong !

Please help me, guys, to find a solution to a unbelievable issue....

BR,

Frederic
