YouTube Muting in Safari on iPad Pro

YouTube muting in Safari on my iPad I have yet to figure out. There seem to be some videos that start off being muted, with the “Tap to Unmute” icon showing—this is great. If I tap to unmute, though, I don’t know how to mute. The video block doesn’t have a sound bar. Can anyone help with this? I’d like to be able to watch YouTube videos muted while listening to Apple Music. I’d be managing Apple Music volume in the control center, so I’d need a Safari-specific volume bar to manage (i.e., mute) YouTube volume while listening to Apple Music.

Avoiding the tapping of “Tap to Unmute” isn’t a good solution. Any workarounds would be welcome.

Uncovered details without solving problem, leads me to think we’ll need a software update to fix the problem. Found volume bar inside AirPlay icon. That’s good. It’s the global bar though. One day, an independent bar in Safari or within YouTube would be great to solve my problem. Case closed for now.

Mute per tab, as in macOS Safari, would be my guess for the most likely expected solution.
