how do i change itunes backup location
Hi everyone,
So have read quite a few posts on this subject, unfortunately none help me.
I have a windows 10 OS running a SSD on c:, and a large data drive on d:. I am having the same problem every one else is having with similar setups, iTunes backs everything up to c:, clogging the small startup drive. Now I have read all the threads on locating the backup folder, but maybe my iTunes is entertaining itself with me as the backup file and folders aren't there. c:\users\(username)\appdata\roaming\applecomputer\mobilesync\backup just doesn't exist. The closest thing I have is c:\users\default.migrated\appdata\local with no folder whatsoever on the computer containing an \applecomputer\mobilesync\backup after multiple searches.
And yes, there has been multiple backups done on this computer in the past....
So, surely someone has come across this problem, and has knowledge they can pass on to help me sort this issue.
Thinking it is about time Apple added the necessary features to offer choices on backup location...
Thanks,
Jim590
