iTunes changing manually added album art.

There are a lot of songs that I have downloaded to my iTunes Library. Usually I will add album artwork to those tracks by right clicking, hitting song info, deleting the artwork and selecting a file from my computer. the artwork will be there but about 30 seconds later. the artwork will change back to what it was before or another file I didn't choose for it. Help me figure this out pleaseeee!!!
